adaptive, intermittent GPS access will keep your phone's GPS warm and your last known location recent and accurate so
all other apps can get locations quicker .
GPS Impetus runs periodically in the background so it inevitably uses a little battery. Try it for a few hours then check out battery use in your settings. You will find that GPS Impetus uses next to no battery.
